The Troyer Vertical Gourd:

Durable: Troyer Gourds are blow-molded in white (sun-reflecting), opaque, high-density polyethylene plastic. They won't rot, peel, split, or crack out in the elements, and won't break if accidentally dropped like natural gourds can. Because they are molded with ultraviolet inhibitors added to the plastic, they have a long life expectancy with virtually no maintenance other than giving a quick scrub at the end of the season. The Troyer Tunnel is injection-molded using opaque UV-inhibited plastic.

Easy to Hang: Troyer Gourds can easily be hung underneath an existing martin house or from an any of the gourd racks we offer. No need to drill a hanging hole, they come pre-drilled with a 3/8" hanging-hole. Landlords will need to assemble the Troyer Tunnel on to the molded-in collar on the gourd.

Designed to benefit the Purple Martin: The Troyer Vertical Gourd reduces the risk of owl predation, due to its overall length of 13". The tunnel is trap-compatible for trapping House Sparrows with the optional Troyer-Haskell Tunnel Trap (THTT). The extra-wide porch on the gourds give martins a place to lounge in the sun and the inner tunnels now have a wing-entrapment guard and traction tread. Each gourd has an additional perch area with traction on the Tunnel and comes with a pre-drilled 3/8”, front-to-back hanging hole. Gourds have high occupancy rates, plus reduce the incidence of fallouts and premature fledging. Now, busy landlords can offer their martins all the advantages of properly-prepared gourds, without investing the time and effort required to grow natural gourds, then add access doors and canopies, or repaint them every year or so.

Made from a heavy-weight aluminum and powder coated this two-piece trap fits ALL Troyer Tunnels.
Features two peak-out holes.
It traps English House Sparrows and last but not least - it also lets you capture the Purple Martin for band reading or for whatever reason.
The trap includes a powder coated aluminum shutter door and trip-wire.

The Gemini 24 Unit Gourd Rack is top-of the line in construction and innovative design. It features our cable and winch system which will vertically lift and lower the hub section without the hub turning. Includes the 3-inch square, 3-piece 16-foot tall high-tensile pole, aluminum heavy-duty ground stake, two solid 72" long top perch rods, the two-tiered aluminum hub with installed glide buttons, two five-foot diameter rings, aluminum support beams, aluminum ball top, stop pin, safety pin, winch mounting brackets, cable guide, and 3/16" stainless cable. Manufactured in Pennsylvania by the Troyer's, this gourd rack is superior in quality and craftsmanship. Available to bundle with your favorite starling-resistant gourd.

Features:

Features: It features a brake winch for easy raising and lowering; 34-feet of 3/16" stainless cable; twenty-four horizontal Gourd Mounting Arms. The all-aluminum hub has nylon glide tabs for squeak-free operation. A 3-inch-square aluminum pole assembly with a ball top and 72-inch long solid aluminum 3/8" top perch rods. There are two five-foot diameter rings. Each ring holds 12 gourds. Cable pulley, stop pin and safety pin are also included.

Materials: Aluminum pole, aluminum heavy-duty ground stake, aluminum hub, rings are made from aluminum as well as all the support beams. Twenty-four solid aluminum 3/8" Gourd Mounting Arms are also included.

Dimensions: Three-inch square high-tensile strength three-piece aluminum pole and stands 16-feet above the ground when installed. Square poles are superior in strength to round martin poles. Rings are 5-foot in diameter once assembled.

Gourd Mounting Arms: Twenty-four 3/8" solid aluminum arms. Gourd Mounting Arms can be placed anywhere on the rings and attach using a stainless bolt and nut. Slip your gourd onto the GMA and insert your supplied stainless hitch pin. The pin will keep your gourd from falling off. When using Troyer Gourds, and if you don't mind a tighter squeeze, you can place 16 gourds per ring. Optional additional GMA's are available.

Choosing Gourd Mounting Arms: Choose the "Horizontal" option for Troyer Vertical and Troyer Horizontal gourd. You can also use the horizontal option with SuperGourds. Simply drill a 13/32" size hole in the neck of the SuperGourd. Note that the newer SuperGourds have drill guides. Choose the "Vertical" option for Excluder Gourds.

Gourd Accommodation: Any plastic or natural gourd can be fitted to the gourd mounting arm whose (gourd) neck is no larger than 3-inches. Please add Pine Needles to your gourds.

Brake Winch system: Includes a D&L 350-pound brake winch which is attached to the pole using the supplied winch mounting brackets. Also included is the cable guide which keeps the cable tight to the pole.

Worm Gear Winch Upgrade: You can upgrade to a Worm Gear Winch for $28.00 more. When upgrading to a worm gear winch you will need a cordless drill in order to operate the Worm Gear Winch.
